The engineering area supervisor is responsible for the safe, reliable, and environmentally sound operations of the assigned plant area , including day to day operations and maintenance. Engineering area supervisor will coordinate activities to identify and eliminate safety hazards and environmental excursions, implement cost reduction initiatives, and drive continuous improvement efforts. How You Will Impact Ingevity Ensures the assigned plant area is operating to support executing production plans to meet business demand and investigate deviations from the set plan Build strong knowledge and understanding around SHE rules and regulations to maintain a strong culture of compliance and values Ensure compliance with all requirements of the Quality Management Systems for the area Manage and direct Area Coordinators Cover Area Production Manager and Area Production Supervisor responsibilities as needed Assist with plant outage planning and executing as needed for the assigned plant area Provide coaching to drive continued improvement Implement improvements in assigned plant area to drive plant success Identify, troubleshoot and prescribe innovative solutions to complex operational issues Coordinate and review MOCs and perform activities to support thorough management of changes made Lead and/or participate in investigations (safety, customer complaints, reliability) What You Need to Succeed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent 10
years Production Manufacturing experience 3
year supervising exempt/hourly employees preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Be an active and engaged safety leader to build and maintain a strong safety culture to achieve zero personal and process safety incidents Strong analytical skills and mechanical aptitude Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people at all levels of the company to achieve results Physical Requirements Sitting at a desk for 8 hours Standing for 12-16 hours Climbing stairs and ladders Walking for 2-8 hours per day Work environment Office setting, outdoors manufacturing plant setting, hazardous chemicals environment Ingevity is a company made up of extraordinary people of every race, religion and background, all worthy of the same dignity. Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
